In 2011, the Greenland power company Nukissiorfiit concluded a 5 year contract with Landsvirkjun Power to provide operation and maintenance assistance for all hydropower stations in Greenland and associated transmission lines.

Landsvirkjun started international activities in 2003 with projects in Albania and Greenland. All overseas activities were brought under the auspices of Landsvirkjun Power in 2008 and include various specialized consulting services and engineering work on hydropower, geothermal and transmission projects. 


We engage in co-development partnerships and offer expertise services in development, construction and operation of renewable power assets with focus on hydro, geothermal and onshore wind.
